Our fourth annual overnight adventure in Fort Snelling State Park
Mark your calendars for one of our favorite summer events as we lead a group of campers on a two-mile hike from Base Camp down to the private group campsite along the bank of the Minnesota River. Along the way, we will stop to discover some of the fascinating historical and natural landmarks that make our region special, with our fun and knowledgable Guides leading the way. No heavy lifting required - a gear shuttle will be available both ways! After setting up our campsite, the evening activities will include camp games, dinner cookout, fire with s'mores, and a night hike under the stars. Participants are not required to spend the night and may depart as desired. In the morning, we will wake up for a hot breakfast before packing up and hiking back to Base Camp. All food is provided. Campers are encouraged to bring their own equipment if possible, though a number of sleeping bags, mats, and tents are available to borrow onsite. Event occurs rain or shine - in the event of inclement weather, indoor activities and overnight inside Base Camp's TeamBuilding Center may be substituted. Pre-registration is required.
