Full Facility Rental Policies & Procedures
Policies for Full Facility Rental reservations
Reservations for full facility rentals can be made up to 11 months
in advance. All reservations must be made at least 14 days in advance
by emailing a complete Full Facility Request Form to
[email protected]. Full facility reservations are not
confirmed until the group leader receives a confirmation email. The group leader must also have an on-site or phone meeting with a Base Camp staff member within 14 days of making a reservation to finalize facility and program fees.
A 50% deposit of the base rental rate is required upon
making a full facility reservation. Checks (made payable to Northern
Star Scouting) or credit card payments (Visa, MasterCard) are accepted.
This deposit is transferable to another date if rescheduled at least 3
weeks in advance.
The remaining balance is due upon arrival at Base Camp by credit
card (Visa, MasterCard), check (made payable to Northern Star Scouting),
or cash. Groups wishing to be invoiced must make arrangements at the
time of reservation.
Reservations cancelled at least three weeks in advance can transfer
their deposit to a new date. Reservations cancelled less than three
weeks in advance will forfeit any deposits paid.
Additional Event Fees
Additional fees for hourly Base Camp staff can be adjusted up to two
weeks in advance. Full facility rentals include one Base Camp Lead Guide, but additional hourly staff can be added to offer Base Camp
programming or provide additional event support. Once the staffing
costs are agreed upon by the group and Base Camp, they cannot be
lowered and the group is responsible for that fee upon arrival at Base
